Chalkboard is an Adobe AIR application, which allows you to write or draw using your mouse, the look and feel is exactly like the Chalkboard which you have seen in classrooms, seminar halls etc.

At the bottom of the Chalkboard you get the options, which allow you to change the chalk colors, change the width of lines drawn by chalk, change the shades, eraser, clear chalkboard, and save the work.

Chalkboard could be a nice toy for your kids, and also if you are fine with writing using mouse, it can eb used for lectures and seminars etc.

Lock it is simple windows application which locks any of the running applications and also can give unwanted visitors that “you  should not be using my computer for internet” signal to many people without hurting them.

Once you have installed the application to lock any window just keep the CTRL key pressed when minimizing the application and it will get locked. I have done a little comparison with Twixtreme, another twitter client for BlackBerry which works over wifi. Here is the list of features.

• Works over WIFI. Its really great to see that Seesmic has not made sure that their twitter client works fine even if you dont have full plan of BIS.
• Interact with any of the Twitter user which is mentioned in any bodys tweet in one click. You can reply and dm.

• Direct Messages and @Replies Notification on the Home screen.

• Quick Access to latest replies and Direct messages with count displayed. So you know how many are unread.  Twixtreme doesnt show that.

• However When compared to Twixtreme, Seesmic doesnt have options connected to user like Making it Favorite, How many people the user is following, who are the followers. But on the other hand Seesmic  lets you search for any hash tags immediately from there. Find out all updates of that particular user, Email the tweet in one click.

• Seesmic settings are better. You can set time interval for refreshing timeline, supports geo location which has been recently introduced by twitter and set number of tweets loaded.

• Seesmic supports Twitter Lists which you have created and one which you are following. This is another advantage you get.

• I liked the Compose Tweet section also a lot, specially the Photo Upload one. It asks me either to explore file or use the camera. After you use the camera it gets you back to Compose section and asks for permissions to upload the picture. However you dont have choice when it comes to shorten any url. It uses Bit.ly be default. However you do have choice between TwitPic and yFrog.

• Scrolling is faster and you can use the option to go to fist or go to last for quick navigation.

• Save Twitter Search

Overall Seesmic has done an excellent job for their brand new Twitter Application which I am sure will take over the market. I hope they keep it free and keep it updating. I would highly recommend you to try it out as soon as possible.

All you need to do is, give the URLs (one URL per line) or you can give a URL of particular set of photos from Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, Photobucket etc. You can also make collages using Google image search etc.

Later you need to choose the layout.

And hit the ‘Create’ button and soon the Collage will appear in front of you.

Here you get the direct URL link and Embed code for this collage, also clicking on any photo allows you to see the original photo (i.e. wherever it is hosted).

Shape Collage online doesn’t allow you to create collages using the photos from local storage, if you want to add photos from your local storage, you need to use the desktop application i.e. Shape Collage.

Our experience on this contest :

• We got very quality feedback( few of which ran half page) . That showed that people who were interested in the contest were serious. We will be sequencing them all so we can follow-on the feedback. Thanks guys.
• We got an insight of what kind of readers we have. There were many who were techie and many of them where regular computer users who read us daily and are not that active on internet. This lures us to do more serious writing and think a step deeper when we write.

The interface of Cut My Pic is very simple and damn easy to use, all you need to do is browse the photo on your local storage, and click ‘Go’ to upload the photo, as soon as the photo is uploaded, in the next step you can crop, rotate, add rounded corners and drop shadow to you photo, also you can click on the preview to see if the photo has taken shape as per your requirement, as shown below.

Once you are done, in the next stage you can save the new photo or you can directly send the photo to someone via email.

Once you run the setup it will do some installation and then you will have use your BlackBerry Desktop Manager to install the upgrade. As it takes care of backup your data you dont have to worry much about loss in case the installation doesnt work for you. It took around 30 minutes in total for the complete installation.
